SOUTH BEND - Claudie Williams, 79, of
Transitional Health Services of South Bend, formerly of 3658 W.
Washington St., died at 1 p.m. Monday in the nursing home. Mrs.
Williams was a former employee of 1st Source Bank in property
management. She was born Feb. 16, 1917, in Bowling Brook, Ga.,
and lived in South Bend since 1982.
In 1957, in Detroit, she married Charles
Williams. He died in 1983. She is survived by two brothers, Amos
Jr. of South Bend and Robert E. of Macon, Ga. She was a member of
New Salem Missonary Baptist Church and the Missionary Society.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will
be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday
in Clark's Funeral Chapel.
