SOUTH BEND - Agnes J. ''Pat'' Wilkey,
77, of Karl King Towers, died at 3:55 a.m. Sunday in Memorial
Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Wilkey retired as a production
manager for Jones & Taylor Advertising Agency. She was born
Feb. 9, 1917, in Dumfreishiere, Scotland, and lived in South Bend
since 1946, coming from Scotland.
In 1959, in South Bend, as Agnes J. Ward,
she married Tony Wilkey. He died March 13, 1974. She is survived
by a daughter, Sondra Ward of Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Allan
Ward of San Francisco; and six grandchildren. She was a member of
Alcoholics Anonymous.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday
in Handmaids of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel. Cremation will take
place. There will be no visitation. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to
Sisters of Handmaids of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel, 23089 Adams
Road, South Bend, IN 46637.
