Oliver Martin Wilhelm
August 23, 1868 – November 4, 1957
Oliver Martin Wilhelm, who resided with his
daughter-in-law, Mrs. Harold Wilhelm at 50848 US 31, died at 2:15am
today in the Whiteman Nursing Home, 1145 Napier St, after a seven
month illness.
He was born in Miami County IN, August 23,
1868 and had lived in South Bend 50 years. He married Miss
Carrie Mortz in South Bend. She died in 1947. He was
a painter.
Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Jack Press of Rochester IN and
Miss Della Wilhelm of San Francisco; and a nephew, Earl Wilhelm
of Detroit. A son, Harold Wilhelm, formerly with the
Studebaker-Packard Corp died in 1953. Friends may call
after noon Tuesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home.
