MISHAWAKA - Bernice Wiley, 76, of
Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 9:38 PM Monday in Saint Joseph
Regional Medical Center, South Bend. She was born February 18,
1932, in Green County, IN, to Herman and Blanche (Worth) Coleman.
On February 12, 1955, in South Bend, IN, she married Robert W.
Wiley, who preceded her in death earlier Monday morning in
Hospice House, South Bend. Mrs. Wiley is survived by one
daughter, Karen L. (Robert) Bennett of Mishawaka; two sons,
Ronald W. (Rhonda) Wiley of Mishawaka and Bart (Michelle) Wiley
of Osceola; five grandchildren, Krystyna, Shawn, Kody, Carrie and
Jessica; one great-grandson, Cash; four sisters, Phyllis (Bob) Nelson
of Mishawaka, Maxine (Norm) Nelson of Crescent, OH, Carol Swindle
of Elberta, Alabama, and Donna (Paul) DuBois of Peru, IN;
and four brothers, Charlie (Bea) Coleman of South Bend, Bud (Bev)
Coleman and Jim (Linda) Coleman, both of Mishawaka, and Dick
Coleman of Elberta, Alabama. Mrs. Wiley was a 1950 graduate of
Dugger High School, Dugger, IN. Funeral services for both Bernice
and her husband, Robert Wiley, will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday,
Dec. 4, in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave.,
South Bend. Rev. Norm Nelson will officiate. Burial will follow
at Highland Cemetery, South Bend, IN. The family will receive
friends from 4 to 8 PM today and from noon to 1 PM Thursday in
the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Bernice Wiley may be
made to Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook

MISHAWAKA - Robert W. Wiley, 78, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 9:48 AM Monday, December 1, 2008, in Hospice House, South Bend. He worked for many years at Blazon RV in Elkhart, IN. Robert was born on August 6, 1930, in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, to William G. and Catherine (Schwab) Wiley. He moved to the Mishawaka area in the 1950s after serving in the military. On February 12, 1955, in South Bend, IN, he married Bernice (Coleman) Wiley, who also passed away later in the evening on Monday, Dec. 1, 2008. Mr. Wiley is survived by one daughter, Karen L. (Robert) Bennett of Mishawaka; two sons, Ronald W. (Rhonda) Wiley of Mishawaka and Bart (Michelle) Wiley of Osceola; five grandchildren, Krystyna, Shawn, Kody, Carrie and Jessica; one great-grandson, Cash; one sister, Anna Marie Borders of Merrillville, OH; and one brother, Ed (Pat) Wiley of El Cajon, CA. Robert enjoyed playing cards. He had served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion. Funeral services will be held for Mr. and Mrs. Wiley at 1:00 PM Thursday, Dec. 4, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Norm Nelson will officiate.
