Chester Wileman

SOUTH BEND - Chester Wileman, 94, of Dunn Road, died at 10:40 a.m. Friday in Holy Cross Care & Rehabilitation Center after an illness. Mr. Wileman was an assembly-line worker at Studebaker Corp., retiring in 1964. He was born Nov. 30, 1900, in Etna Green and lived in this area most of his life.

 

In March 1946, in Mishawaka, he married Edith Geyer. She died Nov. 7, 1973. Surviving are two nieces, Evelyn Hinton of Mishawaka and Janet Rogers of Moulton, Ala.; and two nephews, George Wileman of Nappanee and Walt Wileman of Greatline, Texas. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund of Holy Cross Care & Rehabilitation Center.
