Mary Wencel: South Bend Evening Register (8/14/1879)

Mrs. Martin Wencel, residing on Perkins street, caught cold on Saturday, while cleaning house, and was soon after stricken with paralysis, from the effects of which she died at 6 o’clock last night. Her husband and two children survive her. The funeral will occur tomorrow morning from the Polish Catholic church.
