Paul August Weinkauf

Aug. 27, 1888 – Dec 31, 1944

Paul A. (Bullets) Weinkauf, aged 56, of 434 East Fourth street, a lifetime resident of Mishawaka, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph hospital.  He had been ill 10 days. 

 

Mr. Weinkauf was born Aug. 27, 1988, in this city.  On Dec. 26, 1931, he married Helen Thomas in Mishawaka.

 

Prior to his illness, Mr. Weinkauf was employed as a machinist in the Dodge Manufacturing company plant. 

 

Surviving are his widow; his mother, Mrs. Barbara Weinkauf, of Mishawaka; two daughters, Barbara Alice and Marlene Ann, both at home, and one son, Frederick Eugene, at home, and three sisters, Mrs. Steven Weber, of Glasgow, Mont. and Mrs. Henry Martin and Mrs. Catherine Peters, both of South Bend. 

 

Friends may call at the Thallemer funeral home until the hour of the funeral services which will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.  Rev. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic church, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
