Elizabeth Weinkauf

Aug. 1, 1860 – Feb. 27, 1926

After suffering nine months with a complication of diseases, Mrs. Elizabeth Weinkauf died at 7:20 o’clock Saturday night in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Evans, 721 East Fourth street.  Mrs. Weinkauf was 66 years old.

 

She was born in Germany Aug. 1, 1860, and came to Mishawaka 43 years ago.  Her husband, John Weinkauf, died 10 years ago.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Martin Boehnlein and Mrs. Evans, Mishawaka, and 17 grandchildren.  She also leaves one sister in Germany.

 

Mrs. Weinkauf was a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic church and of the Rosary society.  Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Weinkauf, who died Saturday night in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Evans, 721 East Fourth street, will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic church, Rev. John Bapst, officiating.  Burial will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery. 

 

Pallbearers for Mrs. Weinkauf’s funeral will be her grandchildren and members of the Rosary society will attend the service in a body.

The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Weinkauf, of 721 East Fourth street, was held this morning at 9 o’clock from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic church, Rev. John Bapst officiating. 

 

Pallbearers were grandchildren of Mrs. Weinkauf.  Members of the Rosary society attended the service.  Burial was in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
