Clifton G. Unger, 78, of 1801 Randolph St., died at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday in his home after an illness of eight months.  He was born near Burlington, Ind., and came to this city from Canada in 1925.  He married Lavina Alice Flora near Cutler, Ind. Aug. 22, 1900.

Surviving are his widow; three sons, Clark, Fred, and Herman Unger of South Bend; one daughter, Mrs. Grace Huff, of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; seven grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Wyant, of Bluffton, Ind. and Mrs. Sam Cleaver of Burlington, Ind.

Friends may call at the Bubb Chapel, Mishawaka until the funeral services there at 2 p.m. Friday.  A. M. Mellander of the Watchtower Society, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
