Mrs. Moudelle Tschida, 91, of 426 W.
Nararre, died at 8 a.m. Saturday in the Cardinal Nursing Home
following an extended illness. She was born on Nov. 7, 1885,
in South Bend and lived here all her life. On Feb. 4, 1913,
in South Bend, she married Frank J. Tschida, who died in 1955.
Surviving is one son, Howard E. of Inglewood, Calif.; one
grandaughter, and two brothers, Arthur Brodbeck of South
Bend and John Brodbeck of Kansas.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick's
Catholic Church, of which she was a member, with Rev. Thomas
Zurcher, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Riverview
Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Monday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William. A
parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral
home.
