Mrs. Elizabeth Tschida, aged 89, of 237 Pagin street, died at 12:20 a.m. today in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Michael Wartha, with whom she resided.  She had been ill six weeks.  Born in Austria in 1850, she came here 51 years ago from that country.  She was married there in 1872 to John Tschida, who died here in 1926.  She leaves, besides her daughter, two sons, John and Frank Tschida, 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Julia Ratgip, of St. Paul, Minn.  Friends will be received in the residence after 2 p.m. Thursday.

Last services for Mrs. Elizabeth Tschida, 237 Pagin street, will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Roman Catholic church.  Rev. William P. Lennartz, pastor, will sing the requiem mass and burial will be in Cedar Grove cemetery.  Friends will be received in the residence.
