SOUTH BEND - Betty J. Trzaskowski, 68, of Windsor Avenue, died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday in her home. Mrs. Trzaskowski retired from South Bend Community School Corp. She was born March 23, 1927, in South Bend. On June 14, 1947, in South Bend, as Betty J. Pinkowski, she married Edwin Trzaskowski. He survives with two sons, Larry of Granger and Michael of South Bend; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Lorraine Horton of South Bend and Adeline Corregan of Three Rivers; and a brother, Casimir Pinkowski of North Liberty. She was a member of Crumstown Conservation Club Auxiliary, American Legion Post 357 Auxiliary, Club 53, Harvest House, choir, and Altar & Rosary Sodality, all of Holy Family Catholic Church, Polish National Alliance Group 83, M.R. Falconettes, South Bend Alumni Association and was a representative of Wilson School Alumni Association.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
