Mishawaka – Mrs. Frederick Trippel, 76, a resident of Mishawaka for 55 years, died unexpectedly at 10 a.m. Sunday in her home at 221 W. 6th Street. She was born in Clay Township and moved her from that area.

 

She married Mr. Trippel in Mishawaka June 10, 1903. Besides her husband. Mrs. Trippel is survived by six sons, Victor L., Fred A. II, and Joseph B. Trippel, all of Mishawaka, Carl A. Trippel of South Bend, Albert W. Trippel of Auburn, Ind. and Richard C. Trippel of Los Angeles; two daughters, Mrs Joseph Gorman of Whiting, Ind. and Mrs. Ernest J. Williams of Lynchburg, Va.; three brothers, Edwin G. Wolf, Arthur F. Wolf, of Mishawaka; 32 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

 

Friends may call in the residence after 7 p.m. today. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Mrs. Trippel was a member of the rosary Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frederick A. Trippel, 76, of 221 W. 6th Street, who died Sunday morning, will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the residence. Friends may call in the residence.

 

Mrs. Trippel had been a resident of Mishawaka for 55 years. Surviving are her husband, whom she married June 10, 1903; six sons, Victor L., Fred A. II, and Joseph B. Trippel, all of Mishawaka, Carl A. Trippel of South Bend, Albert W. Trippel of Auburn, Ind. and Richard C. Trippel of Los Angeles; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Williams of Richmond, Va., Mrs Joseph Gorman of Whiting, Ind. and Mrs. Ernest J. Williams of Lynchburg, Va.; three brothers, Edwin G. Wolf, Arthur F. Wolf, of Mishawaka; one sister, Wilma A. Wolf of Mishawaka; 32 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John and Louis Wolf, Melvin Krauser, Arthur Philion and Robert and Thomas Trippel.

 

Editor: Notice that there was an error in the first obituary on the survivors, which was corrected on the second one. Her maiden name was Mary Antinette Wolf.
