Brother Angelo Trettel CSC, 81, of St. Joseph Farm in Granger, died at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, after a seven-day illness. He was born April 14, 1900 in North Prairie, Minn. He entered the community on Sept. 12, 1927 in Watertown, Wis. He made his first profession of vows on Feb. 17, 1929 and his final profession on July 2, 1932. His only assignment was at St. Joseph Farm, where he was a resident for 51 years. Survivors include a sister, Sister Mary Bernice Trettel OSF of Little Falls, Minn.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Chapel at the Holy Cross Brothers Center. Friends may call at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Center, where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, also at the Brothers Center.
