Mrs. Peggy C. Trefun, 62, of 1513 E. Donald St., died at 3:30 p.m. Monday at home after an illness of nine years. She was born June 4, 1921, in South Bend and lived here all her life. On June 12, 1948, in South Bend she married Lewis Trefun, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Hodgson, of Bishop, Calif.; and two sons, Patrick of South Bend, and Michael, of Palm Springs, Calif. Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William. Rev. Rovert Heckman, pastor fo the Lydick United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
