Sister Mary Oswald CSC, 82, died this morning in St. Mary’s Convent, after a l;ong illness. Born on Oct. 10, 1892 in County Mayo, Ireland as Anne Towey, she entered the Sisters of the Holy Cross Aug. 16, 1914, and was received as a novice Dec. 10, 1914, and made her profession on Jan. 6, 1916. She served as housekeeper and dietary consultant at St. Joseph Hospital in South Bend and at convents in California, Maryland, Texas, Utah, Illinois and Ohio.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Our Lady of Lorrtto Church, ehere a rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call today and Sunday in the convent parlor.
