GRANGER - Genevieve G. Tower, 80, of
Bent Tree Drive, died at 1:20 p.m. today in her home after an
illness. Mrs. Tower was born Oct. 28, 1913, in Bakersfield,
Calif., and moved to Granger 10 years ago from Los Angeles.
In 1937, in Bakersfield, as Genevieve G. St.
Clair, she married Dudley Tower. He died Aug. 21, 1973.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan A. Pattillo of Granger; a
son, Dudley O. of Birmingham, Mich.; three grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Dalzell of
Phoenix. She was a member of Knollwood Country Club and Spastic
Children's League of Los Angeles.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Hickey
Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Cremation will
take place, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Los Angeles.
There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made
to American Cancer Society or Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
