Sister M. Presentation Toohey CSC, 93, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday in the convent. As Ellen Marie Toohey, she was born June 24, 1895 in Roscommon, Ireland. On Feb. 9, 1932 she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s. She was received as a novice on Aug. 15, 1932 and professed her vows on Aug. 15, 1934. She graduated from San Francisco Hospital in 1925 as a registered nurse and practiced nursing until entering the Congregation. From 1934 to 1970 she was assigned to hospitals in Salt Lake City; Boise, Idaho, and California. In 1970 she retired to Saint Catherine’s Convent in Ventura, Calif. and remained there until her transfer to St. Mary’s in 1985.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in the Church of Loretto with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, both at St. Mary’s. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today in St. Mary’s Convent, where a wake service will begin at 5 p.m.
