Services for Sister Mary Bermisimo CSC, 81, of St. Mary’s Convent, who died Sunday night, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto with burial in Our Lady of Pease Cemetery. Friends may call today in the convent parlors, where a rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m.

She was born March 28, 1892 in Leominster, Mass. and entered the Congregation of the Sister of the Holy Cross on May 24, 1914, as Mary Elizabeth Thompson. She her profession of vows on Aug. 15, 1957, and taught in schools in Maryland, Virginia, Washingto DC, New York and Texas, as well as at St. Edward’s Hall at Notre Dame. She had lived in St. Mary’s Convent since 1965.
