Sister Mary Richildis CSC, 73, of Holy Cross Convent at the University of Notre Dame, died there Monday after a three month illness. She was born in Poland Dec. 16, 1870, as Appolonia Thilman, and was a member of the Holy Cross for 54 years. Survivors include a nephew, Rev. Vincent Thilman CSC, of Notre Dame.

Rev. Father Thilman will sing the requiem high mass at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the convent chapel at Notre Dame. Burial will be in St. Mary’s community cemetery.
