SOUTH BEND - Kent E. Thielka, 45, of South Bend passed
away on Thursday March 26, 2008 in his residence. Kent was born
on March 16, 1963 in South Bend to Richard and Phyllis (Strunk)
Thielka, Sr., both parents preceded him in death. Kent is
survived by two children, Timothy and Tara Thielka both of
Mishawaka. Kent is also survived by three sisters, Teri (Bill) Miller
of Nappanee, IN. Gayle (Tim) Meers of Niles, MI. Lori
Thielka of Mishawaka, and three brothers, Rick Thielka, Jr., of
South Bend, Randy (Lesa) Thielka of Elkhart, and Chris (Donna)
Thielka of South Bend. Kent was also a fun and loving uncle to
numerous nieces and nephews, who will deeply miss him. Kent
graduated from Penn High School in 1981. Kent was employed as a
Safety Coordinator at Severn Trent water treatment plant for
seventeen years. Kent enjoyed playing golf and was a former
bowler and softball player. Kent loved spending time with his
family, especially with his children most of all.
A private service will be held at Bubb
Funeral Chapel 3910 N. Main St. Mishawaka with the R.ev Ervin
Mize officiating at a later date.
