Michael Termont

Oct. 15, 1958 - Aug. 19, 2000

Michael Termont, 41, of West 12th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away unexpectedly at 8:27 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19.

Mike was born on Oct. 15, 1958, in Mishawaka, to Dorothy (Tremel) Termont of Mishawaka and Richard Termont of Mishawaka, who both survive. He is also survived by a sister, Anne Suhr of Fishers, Ind.; a brother, Thomas Termont of Mishawaka; a niece, Jessica Suhr of Fishers; and by two nephews, Keith and Matt Termont of Mishawaka.

Mike had been employed by Frito-Lay for the past 10 years. Prior to that he had worked in his family's business, the former Jefferson Manor Bowling Lanes in Mishawaka. Mike was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church in Mishawaka where he was a lector for many years. He was a 1977 graduate of Marian High School and a 1980 graduate of Holy Cross Junior College in South Bend, Ind. Mike had ushered at Notre Dame football games for the past 20 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1878 in Mishawaka.

Friends may visit with the Termont family from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 22, in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, in St. Joseph Church, with Fr. Robert A. Yast officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Mishawaka.
