OSCEOLA--George L. "Bud" Tavernier, 78, of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of Osceola, died Friday in We Care Nursing Center, Wildwood, Fla.

Survivors include his wife, Nondies I.; a daughter, Brenda J. Cuthbert of Elkhart; a son, Leonard L. of Tavares, Fla.; five sisters, Irene Parks of Belvidere, Ill., Mary Davis and Alice Sayer, both of South Bend, Billie Vaughn of Mishawaka and Betty Simons of Bremen; and a brother, Robert of Mishawaka.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
