DIED.
Susannah, wife of E. B. Row, died at the residence in North Liberty, on
Wednesday, July 14th, 1875.
The deceased was a daughter of Levi Longenecker, of
Madison township, born on the 14th day of May 1840, and was, consequently, aged
thirty-five years and two months at the time of her death. She was united
in marriage to her bereaved husband in 1866, and proved a kind and affectionate
wife. At the age of thirteen she united with the M. E. Church and
remained a faithful member, prominent and zealous in church and Sunday school
work until stricken down by the hand of Death. Her last work in the
Sunday school was the organization of an infant class of ten members, which is
prospering finely. A husband, father and four brothers and sisters
survive to mourn her untimely end. The remains were taken to Elkhart
county for interment, on Friday.
