Sister M. Febronia CSC, 81, died Tuesday night at St. Mary’s Convent. She was born in 1888 in Poland and received her early education there. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in August 1912 and made her profession of vows in 1918. During her community life, Sister Febronia was stationed in Fort Wayne; Danville, Ill.; St. Hedwig School in South Bend, and the University of Notre Dame. She had been retired at St. Mary’s Convent.

Services will be at 7 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Loretto Church with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, at St. Mary’s. Friends may call at the St. Mary’s Convent Parlors where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today.
