Phyllis May Clark Snyder

March 5, 1948 - Feb. 21, 2002

North Liberty, IN — Phyllis May Snyder, 53 years old, residing on W. Elm in North Liberty, passed away at 1:32 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2002 at the Memorial Hospital, South Bend, after a brief illness. Phyllis was born on March 5, 1948, in South Bend to the late Richard and Patricia (Gorny) Clark. She has lived most of her life in North Liberty.

 

In November of 1968, she married her former husband, Lee Snyder, who survives and resides in Bremen. Phyllis is also survived by two daughters, Kari and Robert Przybylski of South Bend and Heather Snyder of Troy, OH; one stepson, Chad and Kristen Bennett of Nappanee; her fiancé and companion for 10 years, Bill Dodds of North Liberty; three sisters, Linda Ritchie of Silver Lake, IN, Carol Albright of North Liberty, and Mary Hatch of Carmel, IN; and one brother, Dennis Clark of Indianapolis. Phyllis worked for 27 years at the K-Mart on Western Avenue, South Bend, as an office manager. She was a 1966 graduate of the North Liberty High School.

 

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 25, 2002, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan Street, Lakeville, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, February 24th, at the Palmer Funeral Home.
