NEW CARLISLE - Dennis M. Snider, 49, of 307 N. Cherry St., died at 6:50 a.m. Saturday in his home of an illness. Mr. Snider was employed at YWCA, South Bend, as a maintenance person. He was born Aug. 8, 1944, in East St. Louis, Ill., and moved to New Carlisle 25 years ago from Ellis Grove, Ill.

On Oct. 16, 1965, in Willisville, Ill., he married Patricia Gaertner. She survives with a daughter, LaTechia Lang of Mill Creek; two sons, Michael A. of Mishawaka and Douglas W. at home; a granddaughter; two sisters, Jane Hudson and Wanda Jeffers, both of Sparta, Ill.; and a brother, Sherdian of Chester, Ill. He was a member of West Edison Road Church of God, South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert St. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
