SOUTH BEND - Ralph W. Smith, Jr., 88, passed away on Thursday February 4, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Vance); brother, Robert L. Smith and his parents, Ralph and Rita (Stine) Smith, Sr. He is survived by his sister, Beverly Jean Miller of South Bend; a brother, James E. (Mary Alice) Smith of Mishawaka and Florida; and by several nieces and nephews. There will be no services, private entombment was held at Highland Cemetery.
