OSCEOLA - Nadine L. Smith, 84, of 56567 Ash Road, died at
8:10 a.m. Tuesday, July 29. in Homeview Center of Franklin,
Franklin, IN. She was born on August 2, 1923, in North Liberty,
to the late J. Ward and Frances (Fuller) Reeg.
On September 6, 1952, in Osceola, she married Ronald K. Smith,
who preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 2006, in Elkhart. She was
also preceded in death by a sister, Marion Dils, and a
brother, Robert Reeg. She retired as an inspector for CTS Corp.
in 1985. She was a member of the Osceola United Methodist Church
for over 50 years. Nadine enjoyed crocheting. Survivors include
sons, Ronald J. Smith of Osceola, Timothy J. (Theresa) Smith of
Greenwood, IN, and Scott A. (Pam) Smith of Elkhart; six
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lila
(John) Smith of Elizabethtown, PA.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, in Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola Chapel, with Pastor Jeff Marshall, Osceola United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Osceola Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola Chapel. Memorials may be made to Osceola United Methodist Church or to the American Heart Association.
