Louis Colfax Smith

 

   Louis Colfax Smith, aged 76, of 754 South 31^st street, died in the residence of his son, Karl Smith, with whom he made his home, at 5 a. m. today after several years’ illness.  He was born in this county, July 7, 1861, and spent his entire life here.  He was employed many years at the Dodge Manufacturing company, Mishawaka.  Surviving besides the son is a daughter, Mrs Fred Ramsey, Portland, Ind.  The body will lie in the Earl C. Hollis chapel until the funeral there at 2 p. m. Friday.  Rev W. Grant Ward, pastor of the River Park Church of Christ, will officiate
