Anna Marie Smith, 58, of West Ninth Street, Mishawaka, IN, passed away on August 14, 2001 at 7:11 p.m. in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, IN. Anna was born on April 9, 1943 in Kalamazoo, MI, to Robert W. and Mary Jane (Aostrum) Leach, both have preceded her in death.

She later married Danny Lee Smith. He also preceded her in death in 1999. Anna was employed by Holiday Inn as a Banquet Captain for many years. Anna leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Melissa J. House of Mishawaka; her step-son Darryll Timperley of Omaha, Neb.; her step-mother Dorles Leach; her half-brothers, Don Leach of Canton, MI. and Bob Leach of Branch Ville, New Jersey; and her half-sisters, Ruth Blank of Paw Paw, MI. and Mary Fulton of LiverPool, N.Y.; and her two grandsons.

Friends may visit in Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.
