Mrs. Mary A. Slick, 88, who lived at the Dor-A-Lin Nursing Home, died at 3 P.m. Tuesday at the home. She was vice-president of Slick's Cleaning and Laundry Co., She was born Aug 30, 1881, in South Bend and lived here all her life.  She was married on Oct 23, 1902, in South Bend to Charles W. Slick who died in 1933. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Louis Chreist of South Bend and Mrs. J. W. Byrne of West Lafayette: four grandchildren; three great grandchildren' and a sister Mrs. Marguerite Mark of South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home where arrangements are pending. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
