Edward M. Sirlin, M.D., 93, formerly of Mishawaka, Ind., died on Saturday, June 12, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.

A native of East Chicago, Ind., he was a pediatrician in Mishawaka from 1933-1964, when he moved to Fort Wayne to become Medical Director of the Fort Wayne Developmental Center until 1979. He was made a Sagamore of the Wabash in 1963.

He is survived by his wife, Phoebe A. Sirlin of Fort Wayne; a son, David E. Sirlin of Woodinville, Wash.; a daughter, Maybeth Maschino of Indianapolis, Ind.; and by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. today at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, where friends may call one hour before services.
