WALKERTON - Nancy Jo Singleton, 63, of Walkerton, IN,
passed away Thursday, March 29, 2007, in her home of an illness.
Nancy was born Dec. 19, 1943, in Knox, IN, to Les and Frances (Samuels)
Arndt and lived in the area most of her life.
On Dec. 22, 1962, in Culver, IN, she was married to James Singleton Jr., who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Beth Ann (Matt) Elliott of Walkerton; one son, James (Keicia) Singleton III of Walkerton; her mother, Frances (Morris) Voreis of Hamlet; two sisters, Joan Arndt and Kate Singleton, both of Knox; a brother, Les Arndt Jr. of Knox; six grandchildren, Levi, Austin and Hanna Elliott, Nancy Seaman, Stephanie Haynes and Ashley Singleton; and one great-grandson, Jason. She was preceded in death by her father; one daughter, Doris Singleton; and brother, Mike Arndt.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. Eastern Time in the First Baptist Church of Walkerton. Friends may call Sunday 4 to 9 p.m. Eastern Time in Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel and Monday at the church after 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the church or to Unity Hospice of Merrillville.
