Alexander J. R. Simpson

Alexander J. R. Simpson, aged 53 years, 2106 Bertrand avenue, died last night
at 10:30 o'clock after a several days illness.  Chronic kidney trouble and
pneumonia were given as the cause of death.  He is survived by his widow, Mina
L. and the following children: Samuel M., William C., Edward D. and Dorothy A.
at home.  He was born in Aberdeen Scotland, Dec 6, 1861 and had lived here 13
years, coming from Pontiac, Mich.  He was married to Nina L. McKillen at
Imlay, Mich., Dec 25, 1888.  Funeral services will be held from the residence
at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon.  Rev. Cecil Franklin, Indiana Avenue
Christian church, officiating.  Burial in Riverview cemetery.
