Frank A. Simon Sr.

Frank A. Simon Sr., 63, residing on Generations Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 10, in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Mr. Simon was born March 9, 1938, in South Bend, and had remained a lifelong resident of this area. He was a former employee of A.M. General Corporation, and served in the U.S. Army.

On April 21, 1960, in Niles, Mich., he married Bonnie Marie Zoss, who passed away Jan. 21, 1993.

Frank is survived by three sons, Frank (Dorothy) Simon Jr. of South Bend, Michael Simon of Mishawaka, Ind., and Donald (Kim) Simon of South Bend; two daughters, Nancy (Daniel) Morton of Osceola, Ind., and Julia Carrico of Niles; and by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. The family will receive friends after 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Frank A. Simon Sr. may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
