Mrs. Lucile Simcox, 62, of 19405 Oakdale, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, in Memorial Hospital after an illness of three months. She was retires from Saint Mary’s College where she worked as an executive secretary. Born Oct. 20, 1919, in Sebree, Ky., she lived in the South Bend area most of her life. On Jan. 1, 1942, she married James A. Simcox. He survives with a son, Brian of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren; and her mother, Mrs. Lillie Fedrick of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Community Congregation Church with Rev. L. Paul Harris, pastor emeritus, and Rev. Esther Harris, interim pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday in the Welsheimer North Chapel.
She was a member of the church, the church Deaconess Board and Friendship circle.
