Virginia A. Sikorski, 78, of Butternut Road, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 16, in her home. She was born in South Bend on Sept. 6, 1924. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice (Rajski) Szlanfucht, and was adopted and raised by her aunt and uncle, Anna and Stanley Boguszewski.

On Nov. 27, 1948, she married Roman R. Sikorski. She is survived by her husband, Roman; a daughter, Theresa (Stanley) Hembrecht of South Bend; and by two grandchildren, Deanne Levendoski and Bethany Levendoski of South Bend.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 19, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, in St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
