Heinz Wilhelm Siebrecht, 80, of Brandychase Drive North, Granger, Ind., passed away following an illness at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, in his residence. He was born on April 23, 1920, in Sande, Germany, to Heinrich and Trientjeline Siebrecht, who preceded him in death.

 

He married the former Margarite Simon, who passed away, and he then married Rose Horvath on Sept. 7, 1984, in South Bend, Ind. She survives with two daughters, Erma Frepan of Ohio and Erica Battruck of Avilla, Ind.; two stepchildren, Joyce Ann McCoy of LaPorte, Ind., and Fabian J. Horvath of South Bend; his brothers, Adolph, Anton, Gerold, August and Helmuth survive with a sister, Wilhelmine Oetken, all of Germany; two grandchildren, Kristen and Aaron Battruck. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Mr. Siebrecht was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and was a carpenter at A.M. General in Mishawaka, retiring in 1984 after 15 years, and was a member of D.A.N.K. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
