SOUTH BEND - Robert R. Siders, 62, of Maywood Place, died at 9:55 p.m. Thursday in his home after an illness. Mr. Siders was produce manager for A & P from 1948 to 1982. He was born Oct. 1, 1931, in Mishawaka.

On May 28, 1951, in Mishawaka, he married Doris Kronewitter. She survives with three daughters, Lou Ann Horvath, Patty Knapik, and Susie Piechocki, all of South Bend; three sons, Steve, Dave, and Danny, all of South Bend; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and his father, Louie Siders of Mishawaka.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
