SOUTH BEND - Sarah E. Shoue, 90, of West Edison Road, died at 12:40 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Shoue retired in 1979 from Inwood's. She was born Dec. 14, 1904, in Goshen.

On Dec. 20, 1922, in South Bend, she married Charles B. Shoue. He died Feb. 22, 1970. She is survived by three daughters, Wilma Saltzgaber of Mishawaka and Marvel Shoue and Joyce E. Smith, both of South Bend; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sella Devenport of South Bend and Gladys Rensberger of Detroit. A son, Alfred E., died in 1925. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
