Kenneth C. Shirk, 74, of 417 Victoria, Mishawaka, died at 2:20 AM today in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Mishawaka, after a sudden illness.  He was the owner of Shirk Baldwin store of Mishawaka.  He was born June 16, 1904, in South Bend and had lived all his life in the area.  In October, 1925, he married Pearl Troy, who died in June, 1975.  On August 14, 1976, he married Sierra Shideler, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Norman Booher of Los Angeles and Mrs. C. W. Wagoner of Fair Oaks, California; 6 grandchildren; a great-grandchild, and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Lentz of Springhill, Florida, Mrs. Marie Trost of Joplin, Missouri, and Mrs. Willmeia McKinney of New Carlisle.

Services will be at 2 PM Saturday at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, for 35 South Ironwood, with Rev. P. B. Smith and Rev. John Woodruff of the First United Methodist Church of Mishawaka, officiating.  Burial will be in Sumption Prairie Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Friday at the funeral home.  He was a charter member of the Mishawaka Evening Exchange Club, and was a member of Mishawaka Masonic Lodge 130, F. & AM, Scottish Rite of South Bend, the Orak Temple of Hammond, Elk Lodge to 35 and the First United Methodist Church of Mishawaka.
