Charles John Sheon, age 68, of 1060
Lincoln Way East, died Sunday morning at 3:15 o'clock in his home
following a six month's illness. He was born Nov. 11, 1858, in
Burlington, Vt., and married Miss Catherine Jane O'Sullivan
May 1, 1881. They moved to South Bend from Muskegon, Mich. six
years ago. Surviving Mr. Sheon are his wife, and four children,
Mrs. Otto Eckerman, Muskegon; Mrs. Kathleen Whitsell,
South Bend; W. J. Sheon, Chicago; and H. J. Sheon, Detroit, Mich.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus council.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock in St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Theodore J. Hammes, C.S.C., of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Muskegon. The body may be viewed in the home.
