Mrs. Sadie Shapiro

October 15, 1891 – January 2, 1973

Mrs. Sadie Shapiro, 81, of the Cardinal Nursing Home, died at 7pm Tuesday in the nursing home after a seven year illness.

Mrs. Shapiro was born on October 15, 1891 in Russia.  She had lived here eight years, coming form Fargo ND.  On January 15, 1911, in Fargo, she was married to Morris Shapiro, who died in 1955.  Surviving are a son, Louis of Fargo; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Fromm of South Bend; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. B. Wilensky of Minneapolis MN.

Services will be held at 1:30pm Friday in Boulger and Hughes Funeral Home, Fargo, with burial in Fargo Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery.  The Forest G. Hay & Son Funeral Home was a in charge of local arrangements.
