William Vickers Riland

William Vickers Riland, 38, of Olive Street in Osceola, Ind., passed away on Jan. 1, 2002, in his residence. Mr. Riland was born Nov. 12, 1963, in Highland Park, Ill., to Thomas and Elizabeth (Vickers) Riland. William's father preceded him in death. William is survived by his mother, Elizabeth M. Riland of Osceola; two brothers, Thomas J. Riland Jr. and his wife, Patty of Austin, Texas, and Timothy G. Riland and his wife, Nancy of Granger, Ind.; and by his sisters, Kathleen E. Riland of Bristol, Ind., and Susan M. Miller and her husband, Glenn of Osceola. Mr. Riland was a lifetime resident of Osceola, where he formerly served on the Osceola Planning Commission.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, followed by interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations in William's name may be made to the Diabetes Association of St. Joseph County.
