Lloyd L. Riddle

Abt 1892 – June 5, 1951

Lloyd L. Riddle, aged 59, 321 South 25^th Street, was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital at 5:15pm Tuesday.  He was working with his father on a roofing job at 315 East Bronson Street when he collapsed.  His father, 81 year old William H. Riddle, 510½ East Pennsylvania Avenue, called the city ambulance which took the stricken man to the hospital.

He was born in Center Township and spent his life in this county.  Also surviving are his step mother, Mrs. William Riddle; a brother, Glen, and a sister, Mrs. Otto Rader, both of South Bend

Friends may call in the Hay Funeral Home after 10am Thursday until funeral services there at 3:30pm Friday.  Rev. Roscoe F. Wilson, DD, pastor of The People’s Church, will officiate.  Interment will be in City Cemetery.  He was a veteran of WW II, South Bend Post No 1167, Veterans of Foreign Wars, will conduct military rites.
