Mishawaka – Mrs. Daniel M. Rich, aged 56, of 320 South Spring Street, died at 2 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital following an operation. She had been ill three weeks.
Mrs. Rich was born July 16, 1881 in Italy and came here 40 years ago from Canada. As Miss Inez Ferrettie, she was married in 1905 to Mr. Rich, who survives. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and the Rosary Society of the church.
Surviving beside her husband are her father Emil Ferrettie, this city, a son Ronald E. Rich, South Bend; three brothers, Conrad, Matthew and Charles A. Ferrettie, this city; three sisters, Mrs. Felix DeClerq and Catherine Foerter, this city, and Mrs. Harry Gatti, Brooklyn NY and three grandchildren.
The body may be viewed in the residence until the funeral at 9 a.m. Thursday. Rev. George J. Lauer, pastor, will conduct services in St. Joseph Churhc and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
