3, 1925 - Jan. 17, 2010SOUTH BEND - Patricia Ann Richards, 84, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010, at 2:30 p.m. in her home. Ann was born on February 3, 1925, in South Bend, to the late Louis and Julianna (Nemeth) Novotny. On May 15, 1948, in South Bend, she married Clay E. Richards, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert Vaughn, and by her sister, Judy Cummings. Ann is survived by her three children, Susan (John) Creswell, Chris Richards and Laurie Vaughn, all of South Bend; three grandchildren, Scott Six, David Richards and Amanda Creswell; three great-grandchildren; and by her sister, Betty Cooper of Ft. Myers, FL. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2010, in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
