SOUTH BEND - M. Ione Richards, 80, of Fairington Circle, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Holy Cross Care & Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Richards retired in 1980 from Memorial Hospital as supervisor of the dietary department.

She was born May 19, 1915, in Walkerton, and lived in South Bend for 51 years. She is survived by a sister, Phyllis Steffen of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of American Legion Post 189 Auxiliary, Walkerton.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
