SOUTH BEND – Services for Ernest “Dick” Reynolds, 89, of Medco Center, who died at 8:15pm Monday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 1pm Friday in the chapel of Highland Cemetery.  Entombment will follow.  There will be no visitation.  Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.

Mr. Reynolds retired from Ridge Automotive Co.  He was born January 18, 1903, in Momence IL, and lived in South Bend most of his life.  On November 22, 1924, in South Bend, he married Margaret Speyer. She died in February 1992.

He is survived by a sister, Annabelle Schmitt of South Bend; and several nieces and nephews, including Suzanne Scheibelhut of Warsaw.  He was a member of Portage Masonic Lodge 294, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 569 and Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend.
